Nexus One frente iPhone
Anteriormente, hablamos de las diferentes aplicaciones que existen para iPhone y Blackberry, pero en esta ocasión hablaremos del Nexus One en comparación con el iPhone. Analizaremos qué características tiene cada uno para ayudarte a decidir cuál es el que más te conviene.
Decidimos dejar fuera a Blackberry, porque consideramos que la competencia directa de Nexus One es definitivamente iPhone.
Pantalla
En este aspecto, Nexus supera a su competidor, veamos por qué:
1.El display de Nexus One mide 3.7 pulgadas, mientras que el del iPhone es de 3.5
2.Nexus tiene una resolución de pantalla de 480×800 pixeles y iPhone solo tiene 320×480
3.Gracias a su sistema Amoled, Nexus consume menos energía que iPhone que utiliza pantalla LCD.
4.La pantalla del iPhone es multitáctil, lo que te permite hacer operaciones con varios dedos, característica que no tiene Nexus.
Conexiones
En este sentido, encontramos que son muy similares, ya que su conectividad es prácticamente idéntica. Los dos integran Bluetooth 2.1 con perfil de audio A2DP y Wi-Fi.
Ambos integran un puerto Micro USB 2.0, módulo A-GPS con brújula digital y puerto jack de 3.5 mm para audifonos. El Nexus One tiene sintonizador de radio FM con RDS, elemento del que el iPhone 3GS carece, pero que tampoco es fundamental pues hay gran cantidad de radios que hay en Internet.
Cámara
Comparemos a manera de lista las características de cada cámara:
1.Nexus tiene un sensor de 5 megapíxeles (2560х1920 píxeles en JPG) , el iPhone solamente 3.5 megapíxeles (2048×1536 píxeles).
2.Nexus cuenta con flash LED y graba vídeo en mejor calidad, 720×480 píxeles a 30fps. Iphone no trabaja con flash y graba a 640×480 píxeles a 30fps.
3.Ambos tienen autofocus y geolocalización de imágenes.
4.La cámara de Nexus tiene detección de caras y sonrisas, elemento con el que no cuenta iPhone.
Mutimedia
Siendo parte de la familia Google, Nexus One integra todas las soluciones de mensajería, correo electrónico y redes sociales de manera accesible y bastante completa. En cuanto a disponibilidad de aplicaciones, Android ha hecho un muy buen trabajo con Android Market, sin embargo no ha logrado superar el alcance obtenido por iTunes.
En el caso de las aplicaciones Apple lleva la delantera con más de 100.000 opciones en 20 categorías que han sido descargadas 3.000 millones de veces.
Google incorpora muchas aplicaciones ya desarrolladas para computadora, como el sistema de voz y de mapas,información, servicios, fotografías, galerías con conexión a Picasa (el website para publicar fotos), entre otras.
Bateria
En este punto en específico, iPhone tiene las de perder, ya que no dura más de un día. La batería de Nexus One es una 1.400 mAh, aguanta más de 250 horas en espera, 20 minutos de repoducción musical frente y 7 de conversación. Por su parte, iPhone aguanta 300 horas en espera, 5 de conversación y 30 de reproducción.
Información complementaria
Durante los primeros 74 días de Nexus One, sólo vendió 135 mil unidades, mientras que en el mismo intervalo de tiempo, iPhone vendió un millón. Se cree que las probables causas son su precio, sus métodos de compra y distribución, y la falta de publicidad por parte de los proveedores.
Habrá que ver cuál es el futuro de ambos aparatos.
