Sitios para descargar videos
Seguramente te ha pasado que te encanta un video en Youtube o en algún otro sitio del estilo y no puedes o no sabes cómo descargarlo (como en el caso de trackfilm.se del que ya te hablamos).
Afortunadamente, existen varios sitios dedicados a este tipo de tareas en los que incluso puedes darles el formato que más te acomode.

DownloadHelper es una herramienta para la extracción de contenido web, extensión patrocinada por Firefox. Captura archivos de vídeo e imágenes de diferentes sitios y configurarla para convertirlos automáticamente al formato de tu preferencia. También te permite descargar los archivos de uno en uno, para salvar ancho de banda y poder navegar o descargar otros archivos.
Dirpy
Con Dripy podrás hacer dos cosas interesantes: pasarle una url de un vídeo de Youtube al que quieras descargarle el audio o utilizar el buscador integrado que te permitirá acceder a la totalidad de los vídeos de youtube, con una previa de cada uno, y elegir luego la opción de descarga.

Además de permitirnos bajar los videos de YouTube en formato FLV original, añade la función de conversión a otros formatos como el AVI, el MOV, el WMV o el MP4, incluyendo también el famoso 3GP que utilizan la mayoría de los dispositivos móviles actuales. Lo bueno es que también agrega otros formatos de audio como el MP3 o el WAV, capaces de transformar el video que tanto nos gusta en música para llevar a nuestro reproductor favorito.
