Social Media para principiantes
Primero, hay que recordar lo básico. Como gerente de mercadotecnia tu trabajo es planear y ejecutar las estrategias de mercadotecnia y entregar resultados. Tendrás que usar un presupuesto en diversas herramientas tradicionales como radio, TV, impresos y relaciones públicas.
Sin embargo, ahora estas herramientas ya no parecen ser efectivas desde el punto de vista de resultados de ROI, en la actualidad ya se tienen que incluir elementos de Social Media.
Implementando esto correctamente, el Social Media puede incrementar el awareness de tu marca, aumentar tu share market y obviamente, tus ventas. Esto se cumple en la manera en que interactúas y escuchas a tus clientes, aun cuando sea desde una comunidad en línea.
Tu compañía tiene que ofrecer mucho contenido original. Tienes que darle una razón a las personas para que se preocupen y cuiden de tu empresa o producto; ofrece algo a tus clientes de lo que puedan aprender.
En el pasado, las empresas les decían a los consumidores que comprar, y unas eran hasta conocidas por mentirles a las personas. Hoy en día, vivimos en un mundo donde los consumidores hablan unos con otros para encontrar información sobre un producto o servicio. Solo date una vuelta por las reseñas de Amazon o eBay y verás de lo que estamos hablando.
El Internet se ha democratizado, y cuando tu marca o producto llegan a tener algún incidente, el suceso se expande de forma rapidísima, y es ahí donde el Social Media puede servir como una táctica de Mercadotecnia.
Suponiendo que tu empresa ya tiene una marca un sitio Web, la primer cosa que debes hacer es que te encuentren. Busca las palabras clave o frases que los usuarios buscarían y trata de posicionarte en los primeros resultados, nuevamente insistimos, con contenido relevante y en gran cantidad. Después de todo, lo que quieres es que los usuarios den click en todos tus sitios de Social Media, que exploren y que no reboten a otro sitio.
En adición al concepto de ser encontrado, Social Media incluye otras cosas como el uso de blogs, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Google AdWords, Wikipedia, YouTube, MySpace, Squidoo y muchas otras más redes sociales o sitios que incrementarán tu participación en línea. Y lo más importante es que con todas estsa herramientas, tienes la obligación de participar constantemente escuchando y conversando con tus consumidores, si no, no valdrá la pena estar presente en diversas redes sociales.
¿Cómo mides los resultados de tus esfuerzos de Social Media? Muy facil, existe una herramienta muy funcional llamada Google Analytics, la cual te ofrecerá todas las estadísticas sobre visitas, tiempo de permanencia, rebote, etc. Otra buena herramienta es HubSpot, que mide la calidad de tu blog y Twitter.
Los beneficios de usar Social Media son los siguientes:
-Aumento de tráfico
-Encontrar más prospectos
-Aumento de ventas
-Disminuir tus costos por venta
-Construir relaciones duraderas con tus clientes, escuchándolos
Así que ya lo sabes, si tu empresa aun no está involucrada en esto, solo recuerda que es algo básico, sencillo y gratuito, no te puedes echar para atrás, es la tendencia y es irreversible, integra a tus estrategias de marketing Social Media y lleva a tu empresa al éxito.
