Radiografía: Twitter en México
De la mano del analista de redes sociales Guillermo Pérezbolde y Mente Digital, se presentó el estudio que realiza año con año sobre el impacto que tiene Twitter en nuestro país.
La cantidad de usuarios que se han registrado a la red social asciende a los 4, 103, 200 usuarios, de los cuales únicamente son activos 2, 480, 000, y una cuenta activa se considera aquella que publicado algo durante un periodo de 60 días con al menos un post.
Con información de la AMIPCI; 30, 600, 000 son los usuarios de internet en nuestro país, y de ellos 4, 103, 200 son los usuarios de internet, como ya se había mencionado, lo que representa un 7.4% de los twitteros.
52% de los usuarios corresponde a mujeres, mientras que el 48% es ocupado por hombres, además el sexo femenino se coloca a la cabeza con un 2.5 veces más de publicaciones. El 87% de los usuarios publica un post al dia, mientras que el 13% publica dos o más.
El sistema operativo, con información hasta julio del año pasado, era la siguiente:
Windows: 51%
Apple: 20%
BlackBerry: 15%
iOS: 13%
Android: 1%
Además, el software utilizado más usado en México es:
31% Twitter
28% Tweetdeck
14% UberSocial
6% Twitter for BlackBerry
1% Echofon
1% HootSuite
1% Twittelator
El Distrito Federal es en donde más se twittea ya que ocupa un 60%, contra 17% de Monterrey; 10% de Guadalajara; 4% de Querétaro; 3% de León y 2% de Puebla.
El día con mayor actividad en la red es el martes, seguido del miércoles; mientras que el domingo es que menos publicaciones presenta. Además, uno de cada 12 mensajes incluye un HT (hashtag); y un usuario utiliza en promedio tres hashtags por semana. En promedio un usuario de Twitter utiliza el mismo HT en dos mensajes diferentes.
